Feb 15th marks the tenth anniversary of the largest ever demonstration in Britain when 2 million people marched in London against the illegal invasion of Iraq and when the world in their millions said no to war. 10 years on Iraq has been left in ruins with 100,000 dead and millions displaced. More than 700 British soldiers have been killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet the Government is threatening more military intervention in Syria and Iran. It is clear that the pro-war consensus in Westminster is against the interests of working people and peace loving people of the world. You can make a difference by coming to this important rally organised by the Stop the War Movement, Peace organisations and the Trade Unions to highlight opposition to war on this 10th anniversary and to campaign for a better world without conflict and for a future without war.
